Principal / Senior Development Engineer (10 June, 2009) - A highly respected consultancy is seeking a Development Engineer with the combination of technical expertise and business perspective. The position requires an individual with a background in process, mechanical or project engineering with experience in translating their technical knowledge to a business and commercial context. Prospective candidates should have 10-15 years experience with an asset operator including development planning, preparation of capital and operating cost forecasts and development schedules and preparation of investment business cases. Experience in implementation of asset development projects or asset operation would be well regarded. The ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams interfacing with subsurface professionals is essential. The successful candidate will also be required to assimilate often conflicting information from multiple sources into a coherent argument or business case.
